Guide: How to Embed a Dubsado Form on Your Squarespace Website

Dubsado is a powerful client management and automation tool for businesses and entrepreneurs. One of the many features of Dubsado is the ability to create custom forms that can be embedded on a website such as enquiry forms, client onboarding forms and quizzes. These forms can be used to gather information and to trigger workflow automations in Dubsado. In this step-by-step guide, we will outline exactly how to embed a Dubsado form on your Squarespace website.

Step 1: Create a Form in Dubsado

The first step is to create a form in Dubsado. To do this, log in to your Dubsado account and navigate to the "Forms" tab. From there, you can create a new form by clicking on the New Form button. You can customise your form by adding fields, setting up notifications, and more. Once you've finished creating your form, make sure to save it.

Step 2: Get the Embed Code

Once you've created your form, you'll need to get the embed code. To do this, navigate to the Forms tab and select the form you want to embed. From there, click on the Sharing tab. This will bring up a tab with the embed code. Make sure to copy the entire code, as you'll need it in the next step.

Step 3: Add the Embed Code to Your Squarespace Website

Now that you have the embed code, you can add it to your Squarespace website. To do this, log in to your Squarespace account and navigate to the page where you want to add the form. Next, click on the Edit button to enter the editing mode.

In the editing mode, you can add the form by clicking on the Embed button. This will bring up a window where you can paste the embed code. Once you've added the code, make sure to click on the Apply button to save your changes.

Step 4: Customize the Form

You can also customise the form in Dubsado under the Form Styling tab to match the design of your Squarespace website. You can change the font, colours, and other design elements to match the look and feel of your website. Additionally, you can also add custom CSS to your form to make it look unique rather than the standard Dubsado-look forms.

Step 5: Test the Form

After you've added the form to your website, it's important to test it to make sure that it works correctly. You can do this by filling out the form and submitting it. Make sure that the form is properly aligned with your website and that all the fields are working correctly.

In conclusion, embedding a Dubsado form on your Squarespace website is a great way to collect information from your website visitors, follow up and convert potential clients. By following these steps, you can not only embed custom Dubsado forms on your Squarespace website, you can track and organise the information gathered. You can also utilise Dubsado to automate some of your business tasks and streamline your workflow. It's a great way to improve your customer service, and make your business more efficient at the same time.
